Target Population: The general population, with a particular
focus on adults and individuals at higher risk of diabetes and hypertension
Project Goal: To reduce the number of people affected by diabetes and
hypertension in Bangladesh through prevention, early detection, healthy
lifestyles, and timely health guidance.
Community Awareness Programs Conduct community-based awareness programs on diabetes and hypertension, focusing on prevention, risk factors, symptoms, complications, and healthy lifestyles.
Seminars & Health Talks Organize seminars, health talks, discussion sessions, and public awareness events with qualified doctors and health professionals.
Free Diabetes & Hypertension Screening Provide free blood pressure and blood glucose screening to support early detection and identify individuals at increased risk.
Free Health Advice & Guidance Provide free health advice on healthy diet, physical activity, weight management, lifestyle modification, and ways to reduce the risk of diabetes and hypertension.
Leaflet & Educational Material Distribution Prepare and distribute educational leaflets, brochures, posters, and other awareness materials to the public.
Social Media Awareness Campaigns Use Facebook and other digital platforms to share awareness messages, health tips, educational posts, videos, and campaign updates.
Health Awareness Videos & Photo Documentation Produce educational videos, awareness messages, and photo-based content to promote diabetes and hypertension prevention and reach a wider audience.
Health Talk Shows & Public Discussions Arrange health talk shows, interviews, live sessions, and public discussions featuring doctors, health professionals, and other relevant experts.
Community Outreach & Engagement Engage communities, educational institutions, workplaces, and local organizations through awareness, screening, and health education activities.
Over the five-year project period, FDAP will implement diabetes and hypertension awareness, prevention, screening, and health guidance activities across communities and through multiple publics, media, and digital platforms.

Reach approximately 7,500+ employees and staff through workplace awareness programs, health talks, and screening activities.

Reach approximately 15,000+ workers through awareness, prevention education, seminars, and screening programs.
Markets & Public Places:
Conduct public awareness campaigns, free health guidance, and screening activities, targeting approximately 10,000+ people.
Community Centres & Local Organizations:
Engage approximately 10,000+ community members through health talks, awareness sessions, seminars, and outreach programs.
Hospitals, Clinics & Healthcare Institutions:
Develop partnerships with 50+ healthcare institutions for referral, health guidance, professional participation, and community screening activities.
